Bodyguarding Services
Gurkha International (Hong Kong) recruits bodyguards and manages bodyguard teams for clients whose status puts them at risk.
In 2004, with the aim of ensuring a ready supply of trained Executive Protection Offices, the Company established the Bodyguard Association of Hong Kong (BGAHK), an independent training organization, which is still sponsored by the Company.
We run qualifying courses conducted in English by professional Executive Protection Officers and retired members of the Hong Kong police. Instruction is tied specially to Hong Kong law and practice.
Trainees are trained in self-defence techniques by qualified martial arts instructors and in emergency first aid by certified St. John’s Ambulance instructors.
The Company’s placement agency sources Executive Protection Officers and Bodyguard Drivers for permanent or short-term close protection.
All Bodyguards employed by the Company in Hong Kong are personnel with Hong Kong ID cards and the right to work in Hong Kong.
